Biomass Pellet Specifications & FAQs

We manufacture sawdust pellets, mustard husk pellets, and mixed agro-waste bio-pellets for industrial boilers. These are engineered specifically for thermal power plants and heavy-industrial boilers to ensure compliance with national coal-displacement mandates.

Our industrial-grade pellets consistently deliver 3,800–4,200+ kcal/kg, verified through batch-by-batch laboratory testing to ensure they meet the intense thermal requirements of utility-scale power generation.

High ash content can cause severe boiler fouling. Our pellets maintain less than 10% ash content, minimizing clinker buildup and protecting your expensive thermal infrastructure.

We utilize multi-stage rotary drying to guarantee less than 10% moisture content, ensuring maximum effective calorific value and preventing degradation during bulk storage and transit.

The standard pellet diameter is 8mm with lengths between 10-40mm for optimal feed compatibility. This standardized sizing allows for seamless integration into most existing traveling grate and pulverized coal feed systems without major CAPEX.

Every batch undergoes laboratory testing for GCV, ash content, and moisture before delivery. We ensure full compliance with SAMARTH guidelines and CEA technical specifications for thermal co-firing.

Yes — clients typically replace up to 97% of coal consumption after full transition. For thermal power plants, our pellets easily fulfill the mandatory 5-7% biomass co-firing targets.

We use agricultural residue sourced directly from farmers — sawdust, mustard husk, rice husk, and crop waste. This actively prevents open-field stubble burning and reduces Scope 1 emissions.

We currently supply premium non-torrefied biomass pellets. These highly densified pellets are incredibly cost-effective and perfectly suited to meet the immediate 5% co-firing mandates set by the Ministry of Power for standard pulverized coal boilers.

Our ring-die compression process yields a high bulk density of 650–750 kg/m³. This high density significantly optimizes freight logistics, reduces storage space requirements in your silos, and ensures consistent volumetric feeding into your boiler systems.
